Inverness Almanac is a seasonally-based literary, art, and nature journal. Each volume spans two seasons and is laid out like a calendar. Each page includes two days of tide charts specific to Inverness, California on Tomales Bay, solar and lunar cycles, as well as information on what natural events may be taking place—plants blooming, birds migrating, ocean currents changing, and so on. This is paired with art and writing broadly reflective of the seasonality: poetry, scientific writing, essays, recipes, photographs, and so on.
